I met my goal of finishing Wisdom and completing base revisions on I am Woman and Joy (their piece statements and information remain in the 2017-2020 album). Wisdom's is in the 2021 - present album. My focused now is on my Umpqua Community College Show in October, 2024, with a goal of finishing nine additional new pieces for the show.
Next week I will be dropping off one piece (3 figures) and picking up four from Reinmuth Foundry in Eugene. Getting the bronzes back is when the hard work begins. I have the principal cast members in hand, but the scripts and the staging are still evolving for each piece. I never have an image of how a sculpture will turn out until the very end.
